Heswall Operatic Society

A huge well done for everyone involved in Big Band & Broadway - what a show!  Thanks to Dave Semans and the Wirral Schools Big Band who are a truly amazing and dedicated group of people - we are all so very proud to have worked with you all.  Ah-one, a-two, a-one-two-three-four....

Thanks also to Kerry and Paige who stepped in last minute for stage management and mics, to Harry on sound, to the boys from Backstage Theatre for our lovely star cloth, Gladstone Theatre management and to everyone else to helped out both back stage and front of house. 

Special thanks must go to Kevin, our Director for all of his hard work and passion for the show though what has been a turbulent few months.  Thanks also to Jonathan for his fabulous choreography and endless patience!  The music was fab, the costumes were fab, the songs were fab, the dancing was fab.... and to top it all.... WE WERE FAB!!!

Grateful thanks must go to Shay and Barbara for offering their adjoining gardens as a venue for a garden party this year.

The event proved to be a great success raising a whopping £322 towards this years funds. Well done everyone and thank

you for your support.

Well done and thanks to everyone who helped out with the Charities Fair, both by bringing items for our Lucky Dip or by helping out setting up and on the day.

We raised a whopping £224 on the day and were sold out of items by 2pm!  If we had had more, we could have sold loads more as the stall was very popular.  Start keeping those unwanted gifts to one side ready for the next one!

Many thanks to everyone who auditioned for Big Band & Broadway (BB&B)!    I hope everyone is excited by what is going to be a fantastic show.  We are really pleased to be working with the Wirral Schools Big Band and Dave Semens on this joint venture!

Rehearsals are underway and we are steadily working through the numbers!  Well done to everyone and lets keep up the momentum and commitment we have gathered over the last few weeks - it's going to be a great show!
